Nicole Maddox is an award-winning Pastry Chef in Vermont with over 8 years of experience making wedding cakes. Nicole received her degree from the New England Culinary Institute, and has since worked as Pastry Chef for many of Vermont’s best restaurants and companies, including Lake Champlain Chocolates, Waterworks Food+Drink, Idletyme Brewery, Michaels on the Hill, and Claire’s Restaurant, and has crafted custom desserts for events with Citizen Cider, Zero Gravity Brewery, Groennfell Meadery, VT ComicCon, the Vermont Renaissance Faire, and Vermont Cheese Festival. In 2015, she won the Vermont Restaurant Week pastry chef competition, the Sweet Start Smackdown, taking home the grand prize.
Nicole now owns and operates her own bakery, North Country Cakes, where she focuses on cakes, donuts and sweets for all occasions and events (even just snack attacks!). We look forward to seeing you there!
